This week we return to normal programming with no specific composer selected for our 'Birthday Treatment". However we are adding five opera in the morning at approximately 4 am (Indonesian Time) for early morning listeners and our listeners in the Western Hemisphere where it is afternoon. This week continue with 2nd of the 4 operas the Richard Wagner's Ring Cycle.

This Sunday at about 14:00 hours, Gaetano Donizetti's opera in 3 Acts, Maria Stuarda as performed by the San Francisco Opera Company with the conductor, Richard Bonynge on the podium and with soloists, Joan Sutherland - Maria Studarda, Regina di Scozia; Huguette Tourangeau - Elisabetta, Regina d'Inghilterra; Stuart Burrows - Roberto, Conte di Leicester; Cornelius Opthof - Giogio Talbot; Ara Bererian

On Saturday evening at 20:00 hours, Richard Wagner's second opera in the Ring Cycle, Die Wakuere as performed by the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Bernard Haitink with soloists, Matti Salminen, James Morris, Cheryl Studer, Reiner Goldberg, Waltraud Meier, Anita Soldh, Ute Walther, Eva Martón, Ruth Falcon, Silvia Herman, Margaretha Hintermeier, Carolyn Watkinson, Ursula Kunz. Please note this opera will run until after midnight.

Then next Sunday at about 14:00 hours, Giuseppe Verdi's opera, La Travoata, as performed by the Chor der Staatsoper Berlin, Staatskapelle Berlin under the direction of Lamberto Gardelli with soloists Violetta Valery: Mirella Freni, Soprano; Flora Bervoix: Hania Kovicz, Mezzosoprano; Annina: Gudrun Schafer, Soprano; Alfredo Germont: Franco Bonisolli, Tenore; Giorgio Germont: Sesto Bru
